Employment of young specialists – relevant and strategic task


From 17 to 19 April at the Kazakh Academy of transport and communication named after M. Tynyshpaev (KazATC) held an annual distribution of young professionals-graduates of 2019.
Questions of employment and development of professional competitiveness of young specialists are not only relevant, but also strategic priorities of state policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On the scale of the state programs for the solution of this problem were repeatedly adopted: "Youth talent pool", Employment-2020 program, "Road Map of Business", "With the Diploma to the Village", "Youth Practice".
It is known that the youth is a social and economic asset of the population though owing to the age not always has sufficient experience in this or that sphere of professional activity. It is one of the reasons for which many employers are not interested to employ newly baked shots, especially to pay them the high salary. The highly qualified specialists having practical skills are necessary for subjects of business. In this plan of JSC NC KTZH practice promotes better, profound, to the focused training taking into account inquiry of employers by involvement of representatives of the company in curriculum development of specialties and to reading a lecture, providing students with real bases the practical on places of future employment, the organization of the procedure of distribution of young specialists.
In KAZATC work on employment of the graduate begins even in the course of his training when depending on tendencies of the student, it goes to a work practice to the concrete organization - the alleged place of future employment. Depending on results of a work practice, the recommendation of the head of practice the further place of its passing can be corrected. Such approach allows to minimize the adaptation period at employment, quickly and easily to join to young specialists collective.
For rendering assistance to graduates in definition of the place of future employment various events, such as job fair, the presentations, a meeting and an interview with heads and successful representatives of business, leading experts from different branches of economy are regularly held.
The final stage of works on providing young specialists with jobs is personal distribution of graduates, which is carried out annually before the end of training. Distribution of graduates is carried out by the special commission on distribution on jobs at the enterprises and in the organizations needing experts of this profile. The procedure of distribution of young specialists is carried out with obligatory participation of representatives of HR departments of branches, subsidiaries and affiliates of JSC National Company KTZH and also the enterprises of various construction companies, design institutes, banks, financial and other organizations.
This year, more than 650 applications for young professionals who has received higher education in KazATC has been received. For promising young staff visited representatives of JSC "NC «Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" (Branch of JSC "NC"KTZ"-"Directorate of backbone network", JSC "KTZ-Freight transport", branch of JSC "NC"KTZ"-"Main computing center"), JSC "NC "Kazavtozhol", LLP "Passenger company "Turan Express", LLP "Integra Construction KZ" LLP, "Tsentrsoft Academy", LLP "Almaty IT Telecom" for inclusion in the register of domestic producers participation in tenders for public procurement of LLP "JV" Blue Midas Stroy" JSC," Almaty Kazakhstan" (Alma-TV), etc.
Of the 579 full-time graduates with a future place of work, 365 have been determined, who will be able to take advantage of all the benefits and privileges provided to young professionals in the first place of work. Not to mention, they will gain invaluable experience that will be useful to them in the future. The youth practice programmer plays an important role in this respect. Within the framework of this program, "Integra Construction KZ" LLP has accepted 6 more graduates who will gain practical experience in the specialty within 6 months.
With graduates who has not yet decided on the place of work, KazATC together with employers will continue to search for the most appropriate to their abilities and interests of work.
Annually in the first year after the end of the Soviet Union employed more than 80 % of the graduates. A large portion of the retained earnings of graduates generally continues training in a magistracy and doctoral studies.
